VOB Virtual Optical Bench Program Series by METEC
VOB program series is a family of state of the art programs for analysis, design and optimization of optical systems. They obtain an intuitive powerful graphical interface with perfect layout capabilities via buttons and pull-down menus. Optical elements may be moved, added or deleted using the mouse.
VOB series is made by the highly skilled staff of METEC Ltd., St. Petersburg. The authors are graduate physicists and engineers of the famous St. Petersburg University and the St. Petersburg Institute of Precision Mechanics and Optics renowned for their developments in space optics technologies.
Three editions are available:
VOB
is an inexpensive basic
version. It obtains already powerful and flexible means for the design
and the analysis of optical systems. It is dedicated
for educational purposes and fundamental analysis of systems. It simulates
an optical bench with light source, optical elements and an image plane
obtaining an userfriendly interface.
